Fix Step-by-step
- Pair from the MK4 phone / CP / AA menu, then delete stale BT pairs on your phone if you need to (full reset path in phone pairing).
- Accept the contacts and notification permissions.
- Keep a short data-capable USB cable handy for the first connect or after updates.
- Test with fewer BT devices in the cab.
- Forget the car on your phone, then re-pair from the MK4 if it's still unstable.
- New install: check that first-time setup finished cleanly.

- When it’s relevant: your wireless is still unstable after a re-pair, a cable baseline and an RF cleanup, or PVS names a release.
- Safe rules: PVS files only, and don’t interrupt a USB update.
- Stop, contact PVS: worse after a flash, an unofficial image, or smell or heat.
