Before you book a certifier

Consult before you build. Always speak to a certifier before starting significant work. Rectifying after the fact is significantly more expensive.

Verify their licence categories. Certifiers are only authorised for specific modification types. Confirm they hold the correct category for your specific modification.

Document your work. Keep photographs of each stage, receipts, and product compliance documentation.

Use ADR compliant parts. Starting with independently assessed parts makes certification simpler. Products with no compliance documentation create additional work and cost.

Note: PVS Automotive's steering wheel upgrade kits and LED headlight assemblies are independently assessed for ADR compliance. Compliance documentation is available to certifiers assessing vehicles fitted with our products. Contact info@pvsautomotive.com.au if required.

Expect variable pricing. Typical costs range from $500 for a straightforward modification to $5,000+ for complex builds.

Disclaimer: PVS Automotive does not endorse or guarantee the services of any certifier listed on this page. Always verify current status through the official government directory. Last reviewed April 2026.
