Live engine data, On the big screen.
Plug into the under-dash diagnostic port and the MK4 reads your ECU live through Torque Pro. Watch boost, coolant and EGT, pull fault codes and clear them, all without a separate gauge pod.
Plug and Play.
Remove the factory unit
Unclip and remove the original headunit. The kit includes the correct fascia for your dash.
Plug in
Connect the plug-and-play harness. No cutting, no splicing, and on a facelift the factory steering wheel buttons keep working.
Click all four clips in together
Before the unit goes in, trim flush the four small plastic tabs left in the dash opening from the factory radio cage, using side cutters. They hold the unit proud so the lower clips never reach, and they sit hidden behind the fascia once the unit is in. The dash tab guide shows exactly which four. Then sit the unit square to the dash cage and push it straight on, so all four clips engage at once. Hooking the top two in first and rolling the bottom edge in loads the whole weight of the unit through the bottom pair.

Common Questions.
Will it fit my 70 Series?
The MK4 fits the 2009 to 2026 plastic dual-airbag dash, both pre-facelift (2009-2023) and facelift (2023+). It doesn't fit the older steel dash with the narrow radio slot. The kit includes the correct fascia and harness.
Do I keep my steering wheel controls?
On a facelift 70 Series (2023 on), yes. The buttons keep working through the plug-and-play harness, with no cutting of the factory loom. Pre-facelift models (2009 to 2023) were never built with steering wheel controls, so there are none to keep. The 70 Series Steering Wheel Upgrade Kit adds them, and the wireless control module matched to the MK4 is included in that kit.
Does it still have AM and FM radio?
Yes. The MK4 has a built-in AM and FM tuner and connects to your factory antenna, so your stations come through with the unit.
Does it really read live engine data?
Yes. Plug into the under-dash OBD port and run Torque Pro to read boost, coolant, EGT and fault codes live from your ECU, on the big screen.
