Plenty of owners have already done their steering wheel, or want to keep the wheel the Cruiser came with. This kit is the rest of it: the 9 inch MK4 headunit, speaker door pods and MBQuart speakers for every door of your body style, with the 10 inch underseat subwoofer if you pick the 6x9 build.

Every kit ships with the DIY plug n play speaker wiring, so the audio connects to the factory looms without cutting or soldering. Pick your sound, body and colour above, and the right parts arrive together.

Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto

The 9 inch MK4 runs wireless CarPlay and Android Auto with reverse camera support and engine data gauges, purpose-built for the 70 Series dash.

Every door, properly finished

Injection moulded pods with billet mesh grilles, USB-C charging and puddle lights on every door, plus supersized front pockets and bottle holders. Single cab and Troopy builds get the front pair.

Three levels of sound

Discus 2-way coax for a clean factory replacement, Premium 6.5 for a wider stage and a cleaner top end, or 6x9 Premium with the powered 10 inch sub under the seat. The 6x9s suit installers happy to modify the pods.

Your wheel stays where it is

Nothing in this kit touches the steering column, so your existing wheel, airbag and controls are left alone. If your wheel has factory audio buttons, the MK4 keeps them working through its own control input.

Pick your LandCruiser.

Four door bodies take front and rear pods and two pairs of speakers. Single cab and Troop Carrier take the front pods and one pair. Your year and trim decide the wiring: only the 76 Wagon GXL 2017-2022 and 79 Dual Cab GXL 2017-2026 have a factory door plug, so every other 70 Series gets the DIY kit with its own cable and terminals.

Installation overview.

A capable DIY weekend job or a straightforward day for your installer. Guides for the pods are on our install pages.

Doors

Fit the front and rear pods, drop the speakers in and connect with the plug n play wiring. Rear pods require cutting for the speakers to fit. 6x9 speakers also require cutting at the front pods.

Dash

Install the 9 inch MK4 headunit. Wireless CarPlay connects on first start. On the 6x9 build the underseat sub tucks under the seat with a single power run.

Steering Wheel

Nothing to do. The column is untouched, so your existing wheel and its controls stay as they are.
