Toyota Australia has released a new Toyota Genuine Bull Bar for the updated LandCruiser 70 Series, designed from scratch around the turbo-diesel V8 range's newly styled front end. Toyota has also introduced a range of Genuine Tray Bodies engineered for the 70 Series cab chassis.
Toyota says the Genuine Bull Bar is the only bull bar on the market designed by Toyota specifically for the new-generation 70 Series.

The bull bar is powder-coated steel. It carries mounting points that suit both new and existing Toyota Genuine Driving Lights, and it's built to take heavy-duty winching equipment, which matters if you work remote or rough country. You get a large winch cable viewing area and easy access to the winch control lever, though Toyota notes winch lever top access is on the steel bull bar variant only.
The tray body lineup has been through extensive testing against Australian working conditions. You can choose alloy construction with a general purpose or heavy duty floor, or steel construction with a timber, chequer plate or smooth steel floor. Toyota says the aim was strength without extra weight, so the tray handles normal working loads and doesn't eat into your payload.
Matthew Callachor, Divisional Manager of Toyota Australia's Customer Service Division, said the accessories were developed with the specific expectations of 70 Series operators in mind.
"LandCruiser 70 Series owners and users demand unrivalled toughness from their vehicles," Callachor said. "They take their vehicles to some extreme places, and expect a true workhorse that will not fail them. They require the same traits in their bull bars and tray bodies. Toyota Genuine Bull Bars and Tray Bodies have been engineered to be the best for our customers."
Toyota Genuine Accessories bought and fitted to a Toyota vehicle are covered by the remainder of the New Vehicle Warranty or 12 months, whichever is greater. Buy one over the counter from an authorised Toyota dealer and it carries a one-year warranty from the date you bought it, with no kilometre limit, subject to conditions and in addition to rights under the Trade Practices Act 1974.
