Toyota Australia has released a purpose-designed Genuine Bull Bar and a range of Genuine Tray Bodies to suit the restyled LandCruiser 70 Series, with the accessories engineered specifically around the model's redesigned front end and tough working demands.

Toyota Australia has unveiled a new Genuine Bull Bar to accompany the updated LandCruiser 70 Series, with the accessory developed from the ground up to suit the turbo-diesel V8 range's newly styled front end. Alongside it, Toyota has introduced a range of Genuine Tray Bodies engineered for the 70 Series cab chassis.

Toyota says the Genuine Bull Bar is the only bull bar on the market designed by Toyota specifically for the new-generation 70 Series.

The bull bar is constructed from powder-coated steel and carries mounting points compatible with both new and existing Toyota Genuine Driving Lights. It is also purpose-built to accommodate heavy-duty winching equipment, a key requirement for operators working in remote and demanding terrain. A large winch cable viewing area and easy access to the winch control lever are included to simplify winching operations, though Toyota notes that winch lever top access is available on the steel bull bar variant only.

On the tray body front, Toyota has developed a lineup that has undergone extensive testing to meet the demands of Australian working conditions. Buyers can choose from alloy construction with either a general purpose or heavy duty floor, or steel construction with a timber, chequer plate or smooth steel floor. Toyota says the engineering goal was to strike a balance between strength and low weight, allowing the tray to handle normal working loads without unnecessarily eating into payload capacity.

Matthew Callachor, Divisional Manager of Toyota Australia's Customer Service Division, said the accessories were developed with the specific expectations of 70 Series operators in mind.

"LandCruiser 70 Series owners and users demand unrivalled toughness from their vehicles," Callachor said. "They take their vehicles to some extreme places, and expect a true workhorse that will not fail them. They require the same traits in their bull bars and tray bodies. Toyota Genuine Bull Bars and Tray Bodies have been engineered to be the best for our customers."

Toyota Genuine Accessories purchased and fitted to a Toyota vehicle are covered by the remainder of the New Vehicle Warranty or 12 months, whichever is greater. Accessories purchased over the counter from an authorised Toyota dealer carry a one-year warranty from the date of purchase with no kilometre limit, subject to conditions and in addition to rights under the Trade Practices Act 1974.

For owners of the updated turbo-diesel V8 LandCruiser 70 Series, the availability of factory-engineered bull bar and tray options direct from Toyota provides a straightforward path to a fully warranted working vehicle setup.
