No clock spring.
No wiring. Just plug in and drive.

Unlike other steering wheel upgrades that require cutting wires or replacing your clock spring, the PVS wireless control module connects your new wheel's buttons to your headunit wirelessly - the same plug-and-play system we developed in 2017. The original. Widely copied. Never matched.

No clock spring replacement needed
No wire cutting or splicing

How it works.

Four steps. Under 30 minutes. No specialist tools.

1

Select your head unit variant above

Choose Factory Toyota, Alpine, Pioneer/Kenwood/Sony/JVC, or Android/PVS/Polaris. Each variant ships the correct control module pre-configured for your head unit's protocol.

2

Plug in the receiver under the dash

The receiver module connects to the horn power circuit only. No loom splicing, no clock spring interference. Tucks away cleanly behind the trim.

3

Fit your new steering wheel

The transmitter module mounts behind the wheel, powered by the horn circuit. Your factory clock spring stays completely untouched and intact.

4

Controls work. No pairing or calibration.

Audio, phone, and voice controls are live from the first drive. Factory cruise control stalk is removed and relocated to the right-side wheel buttons if your vehicle has cruise.

The Original - Est. 2017

We built the wireless module before anyone else in Australia.

In 2017, PVS Automotive developed the first plug-and-play wireless steering control module for Toyota LandCruiser upgrades in Australia. No clock spring. No wire cutting. Just plug in and drive.

Since then, our module design has been widely copied by other brands in the market. But the original engineering, the original testing, and the original commitment to a safer, cleaner install - that's still ours.

Frequently asked questions.

Different head unit brands use different protocols to communicate with steering wheel controls. Alpine, Pioneer, and PVS all speak different "languages". Choosing your head unit at checkout ensures we configure the module correctly for your setup so the buttons work from day one.

It wirelessly transmits your new steering wheel's button signals to a receiver module connected to your head unit. Volume up/down, track skip, phone answer/reject/mute, and voice control all work through the buttons on your new wheel, without any wiring into your factory loom or any modification to your clock spring.

Yes. The PVS wireless module is specifically designed so you never touch the clock spring. It runs on horn power only, completely independently of the factory SRS circuit. Your airbag system remains fully factory. No fault codes, no compliance issues, no risk.

Replacing a clock spring with a different part number is classified as illegal and unroadworthy in Australia. This module avoids the problem entirely.

If your vehicle has factory cruise control, the original stalk is removed during installation and cruise control is relocated to the right-side buttons on your new steering wheel, similar to how a 300 Series operates. If your vehicle doesn't have factory cruise control, the right-side buttons will not activate cruise (they're wired for it, but cruise itself requires a separate factory system).

The PVS wireless module is engineered specifically for PVS Automotive steering wheel upgrade kits. Generic aftermarket wheels use different button layouts and wiring standards and are not supported. If you're buying a PVS steering wheel separately, this module is the companion piece that makes the controls work.

Yes. PVS is the only brand in Australia with independent ADR compliance certification for wireless steering wheel upgrades. The certification covers the complete install (wheel, hub, and module) and means you can get an engineering certificate in any Australian state without the modification being classified as non-compliant. This matters for roadworthy inspections, registration, and insurance claims.

The wireless module carries a lifetime electronics warranty, not the standard 12 months you get with generic alternatives. You also get access to our Australian-based support team for any installation or compatibility questions, plus wiring diagrams (downloadable above) for your head unit brand.
