Some pre-facelift 200 Series models left the factory without steering wheel controls. This kit adds them: your new wheel's buttons talk to a wireless control module that pairs with your headunit, so the factory clockspring stays in the vehicle.

There's no wire cutting and no clockspring replacement. Disconnect the battery, remove the airbag and the original wheel, fit the new wheel and reconnect.
Before the wheel comes off: set the road wheels dead ahead and never turn the clock spring while the wheel is off the column. An over-rotated clock spring breaks the horn, cruise and airbag circuits, and that's a four figure repair at Toyota. Read the clock spring guide before you start.

What vehicles is this for?
Toyota LandCruiser 200 Series pre-facelift models built from 2007 to 2015 that didn't come with factory steering wheel controls. It doesn't fit the facelift 200 Series (2016 to 2022), or vehicles that already have factory steering wheel controls.
Why do I need to choose my headunit?
Because your wheel's buttons talk to a wireless control module rather than to the factory loom. Different headunits communicate in different ways, so selecting yours lets us supply the correct module kit and your controls work once installed.
What if I change my headunit later?
The module is matched to the headunit you select, so it doesn't carry over to a different one. If you change headunit later you'll need a new Wireless Steering Wheel Controls Module for the new unit. If a headunit change is on the cards, choose the option for the headunit you plan to run, not the one in the dash today.
Does this only change the look of the wheel?
No. You get the premium look and feel with improved materials and OEM-style fitment, plus full steering wheel control functionality through the included wireless module kit.
What about cruise control?
All 200 Series LandCruisers came with factory cruise control. We remove the original cruise control stalk and relocate the cruise buttons to the right-hand side of your steering wheel controls, just like the 300 Series.
Why does ADR compliance matter?
A steering wheel that isn't certified for ADR compliance can put your insurance, your warranty and your safety at risk. Non-compliant wheels may not meet Australian design rules for airbag compatibility and crash performance. Our wheels are certified for ADR compliance by ADR Compliance Services, so you're buying a wheel built to Australian safety standards.
What support do I get if I buy direct from PVS?

Your kit ships with the Certificate of Compliance. It records Test Report 240406, issued by ADR Compliance Services. Fit the wheel correctly and it complies with the Australian Design Rules listed here.

A wheel that's never been assessed has no report behind it, either way. If you're asked how the modification was assessed, you're the one who has to answer, not the seller.
- No report to hand anyoneAn engineer, a certifier or an inspector can ask how the wheel was assessed. If it never was, you've got nothing to show them.
- Your insurer is entitled to knowYour steering wheel is part of the airbag system, so your insurer needs to know you've changed it. Tell them, and tell them it's been assessed. Without that, they can reduce a claim or refuse it.
- At fault, the bill can be yoursIf you're at fault and the wheel is found to have played a part, the repair bill can be yours. So can the other party's damage, and any injury claim.
- Registration and your green slipYour state expects the vehicle to keep meeting the standards it was built to. Your registration depends on that. So does your green slip.
- Most aftermarket wheels replace the clockspringThe clockspring is part of your SRS airbag circuit, and it's specific to your vehicle. Swap it for a generic one to get button contacts and you've cut into the original safety wiring.
- No warranty and nobody to callOur lifetime core warranty and Sydney support cover PVS steering wheels. They don't cover a wheel you bought somewhere else.
