Choose the headunit in your vehicle first, then your wheel style and leather colour. We’ll automatically match the correct steering wheel control kit variant for your setup.
Check your headunit screen for the brand or model.
Your headunit must support steering wheel controls. Factory Toyota systems must also use the 28-pin plug.
Includes GST. Afterpay available.
In 2017, PVS Automotive developed the first plug-and-play wireless steering control module for Toyota LandCruiser upgrades in Australia. No clock spring. No wire cutting. Just plug in and drive.
Since then, our module design has been widely copied by other brands in the market. But the original engineering, the original testing, and the original commitment to a safer, cleaner install - that's still ours.
Unlike other steering wheel upgrades that require cutting wires or replacing your clock spring, the PVS wireless control module connects your new wheel's buttons to your headunit wirelessly - the same plug-and-play system we developed in 2017. The original. Widely copied. Never matched.
Steering Wheel
Understand what compliance means before you buy.
How our wheels are certified for ADR compliance, what the assessment covers, and what it means for registration and insurance.
Why replacing the clockspring with a generic aftermarket unit is a compliance and safety issue, and how the wireless module solves it.
What each state requires to certify a steering wheel modification, and how to find a qualified engineer near you.
For vehicles that came with factory cruise control, commonly DPF models, the original stalk is removed and the cruise control buttons are relocated to the right-hand side of the steering wheel controls, just like on the 300 Series.
If an aftermarket cruise control kit is installed, you will need to contact Autostrada to arrange a compatible module replacement that supports the 300 Series style steering wheel buttons.
If your vehicle does not have factory cruise control and you have no plans to add it, the right-hand side buttons on the steering wheel will be redundant - those buttons are dedicated to cruise control.
ADR (Australian Design Rules) are the national safety standards all vehicles in Australia must meet. A steering wheel that compromises the airbag system, through an incorrect clockspring replacement or an unassessed design, places the vehicle outside its original compliance envelope. That means it cannot be certified by a qualified engineer, may fail a roadworthy inspection, and may not be covered by insurance in a crash.
The PVS kit retains the factory clockspring entirely using our wireless module. The airbag circuit is never touched. Every kit is independently assessed and certified for ADR compliance as a complete system before release by a qualified automotive engineer, and assessment documentation is available on request for engineering certification in any Australian state.
