What Each Button on Your PVS Steering Wheel Does
Your cruise buttons work straight away, with nothing to set. The cluster, radar and lane assist buttons depend on how your wheel connects: on the factory 12-pin or 10-pin plug, or through the wireless module. You set everything else in the SWC app on your headunit.

What each button does
Check the group first. How your wheel connects decides what the cluster and driver assist buttons do.
Cruise control
These four work straight away through the factory clockspring or the Autostrada module. There's nothing to set. You can't map them to a headunit, so they don't appear in the SWC app.

| 4 | CANCEL | Right of the rocker. Same job as CANCEL on your factory wheel. |
Instrument cluster
- Factory 12-pin or 10-pin plug: these six drive your instrument cluster. That's vehicles such as the 200 Series facelift, the 70 Series facelift and the N80 Hilux.
- Wireless module: you can program them in the SWC app on an Android headunit that supports these functions. PVS headunits do. With any other headunit, it depends on the headunit.

Audio and phone
These seven work with every wireless module. You pick each one's job in the SWC app on your headunit.

Driver assist
- Factory 12-pin or 10-pin plug: if your vehicle's original wheel had these buttons, they work as before. That's vehicles such as the N80 Hilux, the 200 Series facelift and the 70 Series facelift.
- Wireless module: these two do nothing, unless you have an Android headunit that supports these functions. PVS headunits do. You then program them in the SWC app, the same as the cluster buttons.

Program your buttons
You do this on your headunit, not on the wheel or the module. The full walkthrough is in How to Program Steering Wheel Buttons on an Android Headunit.

Open the SWC app on your headunit
It sits with the other apps. Keep the ignition on and the vehicle stationary.

Tap a function, then press its button once
Screen first, wheel second. If you hold the button, it learns wrong or doesn't learn at all.

Add a long press for a second job
Tap Long Press next to a function, then press the button. You get the first job on a short press and the second on a long press.

Press Save
The mapping isn't kept until you save it. Try every button before you put the fascia back.
Worth knowing
- Skip the cruise buttons in the app. They work on their own and won't show there.
- Ignore the key button on the wireless module. The modules ship already paired, and you make every button assignment on the headunit.
