Steel is honest, and steel is heavy. The bonnet of a 70 Series factory tray sits 18 to 22 kg of mass over the front axle. The Urnieta carbon kit sits roughly a third of that, in carbon fibre laid to the same panel shape.
Less weight at the nose changes how the rig handles before it changes how it looks. Less weight over the engine bay changes how the engine bay heats up.

Four fitments cover the modern Urnieta range. The 70 Series 2008 to 2023 kit and the 70 Series 2023+ kit follow the two distinct bonnet lines on the 70 chassis. The 250 Prado kit picks up the new bumper and lamp signature. The 300 Series kit sits to the lifted-bonnet centre line.
All four use factory hardware and factory hinge points. No wiring loom changes, no cowl trim work.
