Problem

Cause
- Cover runs by part, not by order. One order can hold parts with three different terms on them.
- Wear isn't failure. Leather, carbon and fabrics are covered against faults for 12 months, and not against normal wear or damage.
- Australian Consumer Law runs alongside ours. Your rights under it don't end when our term does.
Fix Step-by-step
- Find your term: the cover table below is by part type.
- Raise a ticket with your order number and describe what the part is doing, not just that it stopped.
- Send photos or a short video: most electrical faults are diagnosed from what the lights are doing, and that saves your part a trip.
- Work through the fix with us before you post anything: a good share of claims turn out to be wiring and get solved in the driveway.
- Register your steering wheel: put it on the record and your warranty document comes back by email.

How long each part is covered
Your cover runs by part type, so check the row that matches what failed.
- Headunits: 36 months. Direct with us.
- Steering wheel core: lifetime. The core itself, structurally.
- Wireless module electronics: lifetime. The module electronics only.
- Leather, carbon and fabrics: 12 months. Against faults, not wear.
- Everything else: 12 months.
A steering wheel kit holds parts from more than one of those rows, so the kit as a whole runs to 12 months while the core keeps its own lifetime cover.
When a repair sits outside warranty
Some failures are damage rather than a fault, and water or a wiring short are the usual two. Those are chargeable repairs.
We can't quote one from a description. A bench test tells us whether it's the harness plug or the board behind it, and the quote follows that.
