Your LN106 gets a modern wheel with real controls, and it still looks like it came that way.
Pick your headunit in the configurator and you'll get the right kit. The LN106 never came with steering wheel controls, so every kit includes the wireless control module, matched to the headunit you choose. It also includes the boss kit adaptor that mounts the new wheel to the older LN106 column.
Choose from four wheel styles in grey or black leather. Every wheel is independently assessed for ADR compliance by ADR Compliance Services and ships with its Certificate of Compliance.

What each button does.
Buttons 1 to 4 run your cruise control directly if your vehicle has factory cruise or an Autostrada kit, so there's nothing to set on the headunit.
The audio and phone buttons work with every steering wheel control module. The cluster, radar and lane buttons depend on your vehicle and headunit.

Will this kit fit my Hilux?
It's built for the Toyota Hilux LN106. Check the model code on your compliance plate before you order. Other Hilux generations take a different kit: see the N70 Hilux kit and the N80 Hilux kit.
Do I need to buy the boss kit separately?
No. The boss kit adaptor is part of this kit and ships with it. It's the mount that lets a modern Toyota wheel bolt onto the LN106 column.
Why do I need to choose my headunit?
Different headunits talk to steering wheel controls in different ways. Selecting your headunit lets us supply the correct wireless control module for your setup so the buttons work once installed.
What if I change my headunit later?
The module is matched to the headunit you select, so it doesn't carry over to a different one. If you change headunit later you'll need a new Wireless Steering Wheel Controls Module for the new unit. If a headunit change is on the cards, choose the option for the headunit you plan to run, not the one in the dash today.
Which headunit models are supported?
The LN106 factory radio has no steering wheel control input, so the kit works with an aftermarket headunit from these brands.

PVS: MK4 and MK3. Aerpro: AM9X, AM9XFW, AM7X. Aerpro reads the steering wheel controls through a vehicle-specific control harness, so check you have the harness for your vehicle with the steering wheel control input. VHEDIA and Polaris: their Android headunits.
Android (other): Teyes, Kayhan Audio, Xtrons, Seicane, Eonon, Atoto, Dasaita and most Android headunits.

Which buttons work?
Volume, track, mode, phone and voice work with every headunit option. The cluster, radar and lane buttons can be programmed on an Android headunit that supports those functions, and PVS headunits do. On other headunits they do nothing. The full map is in What each button does.
Does cruise control work?
Only with an Autostrada cruise control kit. If your Autostrada kit came from somewhere other than PVS, contact Autostrada, tell them you're fitting a PVS 300 Series steering wheel and ask for the updated modules. Auscruise and other cruise brands don't work with this wheel, and there's no adaptor for them. Your audio, phone and voice buttons work through the wireless module whatever cruise you run.
Why does ADR compliance matter?
ADR (Australian Design Rules) are the national safety standards all vehicles in Australia must meet. A wheel that has never been assessed can't be shown to keep your vehicle compliant. It can't be certified by a qualified engineer, may fail a roadworthy inspection, and may not be covered by insurance in a crash. Every PVS wheel is independently assessed.

Anyone can call a steering wheel compliant. We can show you the document. You can show it to a consulting engineer, a vehicle certifier or an inspector at the roadside.

Your kit ships with the Certificate of Compliance. It records Test Report 240406, issued by ADR Compliance Services. Fit the wheel correctly and it complies with the Australian Design Rules listed here.

A wheel that's never been assessed has no report behind it, either way. If you're asked how the modification was assessed, you're the one who has to answer, not the seller.

- Your insurer is entitled to knowYour steering wheel is part of the airbag system, so your insurer needs to know you've changed it. Tell them, and tell them it's been assessed. Without that, they can reduce a claim or refuse it.
- At fault, the bill can be yoursIf you're at fault and the wheel is found to have played a part, the repair bill can be yours. So can the other party's damage, and any injury claim.
- Registration and your green slipYour state expects the vehicle to keep meeting the standards it was built to. Your registration depends on that. So does your green slip.
- Most aftermarket wheels replace the clockspringThe clockspring is part of your SRS airbag circuit, and it's specific to your vehicle. Swap it for a generic one to get button contacts and you've cut into the original safety wiring.
- No warranty and nobody to callOur lifetime core warranty and Sydney support cover PVS steering wheels. They don't cover a wheel you bought somewhere else.
Compliance and insurance requirements differ by state and by insurer. Confirm your own position with a licensed automotive engineer and your insurer.
