Jimny-specific 15-inch forged wheel geometry balances tyre range, ride feel, and vehicle proportion, with separate caps resolving the front and rear axle differences.
The OEM 15-inch steel wheel is rugged, replaceable, and affordable, but it carries visual and mechanical compromises once the Jimny moves to larger off-road tyres. Added unsprung weight affects ride compliance, braking, and steering feel, while the front hub and rear axle read as different visual systems.
The Salado Wheel Kit keeps the 15-inch diameter because it best balances comfort, tyre support, and the compact proportions of the Jimny. Forged construction addresses weight at the wheel, where mass matters most. Separate front and rear caps respond to the different axle geometry instead of forcing one cover over both. The cap architecture remains open to owner colour customisation across future builds.
