Snorkel Kit
Jimny
The URNIETA SALADO Snorkel Kit is engineered for the Jimny JB74 and JC74, combining two interchangeable heads, no body modification, and a silicone intake hose with design-led fitment and high-end build quality.

Why this part
exists.
OEM hood trim becomes a roof-height intake route, with Standard and Pre-Cleaner heads supporting water, dust, and sand use without body or intake-system modification.
The OEM intake is low because the stock Jimny is tuned around emissions, noise, and urban use. That placement becomes fragile when the vehicle moves through water, dust, or sand: river crossings threaten water ingestion, while storms and powder tracks overload the air filter.
The Salado Snorkel Kit moves the intake path upward by replacing the OEM hood trim panel instead of cutting the fender or reworking the intake system. The Standard Head prioritises airflow for water, mud, and clean-air use. The Pre-Cleaner Head uses cyclonic airflow to separate heavier dust and sand before they reach the filter. A silicone intake hose supports -30C to +60C use, keeping the system sealed across winter convoys and desert heat.

Three things that matter.
Two Interchangeable Heads
Standard Head for water and mud. Pre-Cleaner Head for dust and sand. Hot-swap between configurations based on terrain. Same snorkel structure.
No Body Modification
Replaces the OEM hood trim panel, not a fender-cut installation. The OEM panel comes off, the Salado snorkel goes on. Reversible and dealer-friendly.
Silicone Intake Hose
High-performance silicone rubber rated for a -30C to +60C operating range. Holds shape and seal across temperature extremes, from sand convoys to winter overland to sustained high-heat operation.
