Why this part
exists.
Rear side glass becomes structural cabin storage, turning unused window volume into organised space for gear, tools, compressor hardware, and camera equipment.
The Jimny's compact cabin makes every storage decision visible. On overland builds, the rear side glass often stops serving its original purpose because roof racks, headrests, and packed cargo already interrupt the view. The window becomes unused volume at the edge of the cabin.
The Salado Side Window Storage Kit treats that glass area as a structural storage plane. The OEM glass comes off and the panel goes on, with no glass cutting or body modification. The internal board is sized for the ARB air compressor kit and can organise tools, recovery hardware, photography equipment, first aid, satellite phones, and loose cabin kit. Left and right versions let the owner choose storage capacity versus retained visibility.

Three things that matter.
No Glass Cutting
Direct replacement for the OEM side window glass. The OEM glass mounts come off, the Salado panel goes on. No cutting, no body modification, no irreversible work.
ARB Compressor Ready
The mounting board is sized to fit the ARB air compressor kit, the standard among overland Jimny builds. Holds the compressor, hoses, and inline gauge inside the cavity.
LH and RH Available
Sold in left-side and right-side configurations. Run both for full cabin storage, or just one to keep visibility on one side.
