The Urnieta Salado Side Mirror Kit replaces your Jimny's OEM side mirrors with an expanded field of view that reinforces the vehicle's hard-edged stance.
It mounts in the OEM position with no body modification. Adjustment is manual and omnidirectional on the main mirror body, and the main connection arm allows unrestricted Z-axis rotation. The mounting base is pre-tapped with M6 and 1/4 inch-20 expansion ports for action cameras of any brand.
Three things that matter.
UNRESTRICTED Z-AXIS
The main connection arm rotates without restriction, so you can reposition the mirror for tight trail visibility, wide towing loads and recovery operations.
CAMERA MOUNTING PORTS
M6 and 1/4 inch-20 ports are pre-tapped into the mounting base. They suit GoPro, Sony, DJI, Insta360 and Canon.
FIRST-PERSON ANGLE
The mirror position is the optimal mounting position for first-person driving footage, capturing the trail, the driver and the hood.
Installation overview.
REMOVE MIRROR
Remove the door panel and A-pillar cover to reach the screws under the inner cover, then detach the original OEM side mirror.
MOUNT BASE
Install the new mirror base onto the door with the special base-mounting screws, using the Jimny adapter and gasket.
FIT MIRROR
Secure the complete mirror to the base and stick the upper bracket to the door frame with the 3M adhesive film. Dry fit the tube and clamp head.
SECURE AND ALIGN
Adjust the angle of the mirror tube and lock it with the rivets, then finish aiming the glass.
