Why this part
exists.
(SHORT SUMMARY)
Modular split-section LC70 roof platform with rain-gutter and A-pillar mounting, aluminum-magnesium alloy construction, expansion channels, light brackets, and LC71/76/78/79 fitment.
(WHY THIS *PART* EXISTS)
The LC70 has carried rooftop gear for decades, but many aftermarket racks add weight without using the vehicle's rain gutters as structural mounting points. Heavy steel or cage-style systems can compromise handling, trap water, and miss the platform's strongest roof-side feature.
The URNIETA LC70 Heritage Roof Rack Kit is a modular split-section system built for LC71, LC76, LC78, and LC79. It anchors through the rain gutter channels and A-pillar attachment points to reinforce the body while carrying roof loads. Aluminum-magnesium alloy construction, front wind-deflector or auxiliary-light configurations, removable grab handles, longitudinal expansion channels, and rear light brackets make the roof ready for real equipment rather than decoration.

Three things that matter.
Structural Reinforcement
Multi-point mounting through the body's rain gutter channels and A-pillar attachment points. The assembled structure further reinforces overall body rigidity, not just additional weight on the roof.
Modular Front Configuration
The front cage section anchors to the lower A-pillar body structure. Two interchangeable configurations: Wind Deflector for highway use, Auxiliary Light Mount for night convoys. OEM snorkel compatible.
Expansion-Ready Architecture
Longitudinal expansion channels on the platform top. Removable grab handles mount anywhere on the system. Pre-configured light brackets at front shoulders and rear. Designed to grow with the build.
