Built for the Troopy roofline.
The 78 Series Troop Carrier roofline sits higher and runs longer than the cab or wagon variants, and a console sized to those dimensions simply does not exist in the standard Toyota parts catalogue. The URNIETA kit is its own part, engineered specifically for the Troopy overhead area, not a 70 Series console adapted with workarounds.
The result is a finished bay that looks like it came from the factory. The cavity is sized to the Troopy roofline, the switch panel pocket and UHF headunit mount drop in without cutting or shimming, and the accessory channel accommodates additional gauges alongside whatever switch gear you are running.
Installation replaces the factory headlining around the rear-view mirror area. Because each console is made to order, lead time is 3 to 4 weeks from the time your order is placed.

TROOPY-SPECIFIC CAVITY
The console is dimensioned for the 78 Series Troop Carrier roofline, not adapted from a shorter cab or wagon part. Everything fits flush without modification.
SWITCH PANEL POCKET
A dedicated recessed cavity keeps your switch panel tidy and positioned at a natural reach angle for driver and co-driver.
UHF HEADUNIT MOUNT
An integrated mount positions a UHF headunit overhead, freeing up dash and centre-console space for other controls.

REMOVE FACTORY HEADLINING
Drop the factory headlining panel around the rear-view mirror area to expose the overhead mounting points.
POSITION THE CONSOLE
Offer the URNIETA console up to the roofline and align to the existing mounting locations.
SECURE AND ROUTE WIRING
Fasten the console in place and route wiring for the integrated map and cargo lighting to your vehicle's electrical system.
FIT ACCESSORIES
Install your switch panel, UHF headunit, and any gauges into the dedicated cavities and channel.
