The Jimny cockpit is honest and mechanical, but the area above the windshield remains unused. For a working build, that is the natural place for grouped switches, lighting control, radio output, storage, and eye-level accessories that should be reached without dropping attention from the road.
The Salado Roof Console adapts URNIETA’s aircraft-inspired overhead-panel logic to the Jimny. The vertical panel carries switch positions, dimmer controls, storage compartments, and an expansion rail for cameras, tablets, and accessories. The horizontal assembly adds radio speaker output, semi-translucent tinted black visors, and storage. Compatibility with mainstream two-way radios turns the overhead into a functional comms and control zone.

Dual Assembly Architecture

The vertical panel includes an expansion rail for first-person camera mounting, tablet holders, and accessory expansion. Built for documentation, comms, and content.
