Mudflap Kit
Jimny
The Salado Mudflap Kit adapts URNIETA's 70 Series mudflap logic to Jimny scale. Silicone rubber provides stability across -30C winter convoy use and +60C desert expeditions. The angle adjusts for 195/80, 215/75, and 235/75 tyre setups, so the flap remains tuned to the installed tyre. Fisheye ball joints and steel-cable tensioning replace looser elastic behaviour with smoother motion, tighter response, and longer service life.

Why this part
exists.
Mudflap motion control uses silicone rubber, steel-cable tensioning, and fisheye ball joints to manage debris throw across tyre sizes and temperature extremes.
The Jimny does not ship with serious mudflaps because Suzuki kept the lower body clear for approach and departure angles. That works on a stock tyre setup, but larger off-road tyres throw more rocks, mud, and dust onto the body and into following vehicles.

Three things that matter.
Extreme-Temp Silicone
Silicone rubber rated for a -30C to +60C operating range. Stable in winter aid convoys and desert summer expeditions. No cracking, no flexing failure.
Steel Cable Tensioning
Upgraded from URNIETA's earlier elastic cord, steel cable provides tighter response and longer service life. Fisheye ball joint for smooth motion across uneven terrain.
Tyre-Size Adjustable
Adjustable angle accommodates OEM 195/80 up to 235/75 off-road tyres. Same flap, different setups. Re-adjust if tyre size changes down the road.
