Fuel Cap Kit
Jimny
The hidden OEM fuel cap becomes an exposed Salado-language side detail with an anti-theft lock and a separate paint-ready Urnieta emblem inlay.

Why this part
exists.
The hidden OEM fuel cap becomes an exposed Salado-language side detail with an anti-theft lock and a separate paint-ready Urnieta emblem inlay.
The OEM fuel cap is hidden behind a clean body panel, which suits stock aerodynamics and visual simplicity. In a Salado build, however, that hidden treatment becomes the only side-body detail that refuses the exposed, structural, hardware-aware language. It also leaves fuel security tied to the OEM key system.
The Salado Fuel Cap Kit makes the fuel point visible and intentional. The outer frame sits proud of the body as a designed side feature rather than a concealed service door. A separate anti-theft lock and key add security for trailhead and convoy parking. The frame and Urnieta emblem are separate inlay components, so owners can paint, replace, or contrast them as part of the build.
The drawing.

Three things that matter.
Exposed Frame Language
The outer frame sits proud of the body, visible, deliberate, structural. Aligned with the Salado build's hardware-acknowledged language.
Anti-Theft Lock
Locking fuel cap separate from the OEM key system. Higher-security mechanism. Real protection for overland convoy parking.
DIY Paint Ready
Outer frame and Urnieta emblem ship as separate inlay components. Paint individually to match the owner's build. Replaceable individually if needed.
