Why upgrade the factory rings.
The 70 Series dashboard is all business, but the factory AC vent rings are plain injection-moulded plastic. URNIETA machines replacements from solid aluminium, giving the same vent face a noticeably different feel without touching the diffuser blades or shut-off mechanism behind it.
The swap is straightforward. The original plastic rings pull out cleanly, the aluminium pieces press straight into the factory housings, and the whole job takes about five minutes per vent. Nothing is cut, glued or drilled, so the change is fully reversible if you ever need it to be.
Suits all 70 Series LandCruiser variants, pre and post the 2023 facelift. Each set is made to order with a 3 to 4 week production lead time, and ships free worldwide.

CNC-MACHINED ALUMINIUM
Each ring is machined from solid aluminium, replacing the factory plastic face with a clean, metal finish that holds up to daily use.
PRESS-FIT INSTALL
The rings seat directly into the factory vent housings. No cutting, drilling or adhesive required, and the original plastic rings come out undamaged.
FULLY REVERSIBLE
Because nothing is modified, the swap can be undone at any time. The factory parts stay intact and can go straight back in.

REMOVE FACTORY RINGS
Pop the original plastic vent rings out of the dash housings. They come out without breaking, so keep them somewhere safe.
PRESS IN ALUMINIUM RINGS
Seat the URNIETA aluminium rings into the factory vent housings. They press in firmly using hand pressure only, no adhesive needed.
CONFIRM FIT
Check that the diffuser blades and shut-off mechanism operate normally. The job is done and fully reversible whenever you need.
