Why replace the plastic?
The factory AC panel on the 70 Series does its job, but the plastic housing has never quite matched the workhorse character of the truck it sits in. The URNIETA panel keeps every dial, every button and every connector exactly where they were. The only thing that changes is the face.
Knurled aluminium dial caps give a positive grip and a mechanical feel that the original unit never offered. Laser-etched icons stay legible for the long haul, and the satin anodised body reads naturally alongside the period dashboard without looking like an afterthought.

CNC-MACHINED ALUMINIUM
The face is machined from aluminium billet, replacing the factory plastic with a material that handles heat, vibration and decades of daily use without fading or cracking.
KNURLED DIAL CAPS
Aluminium dial caps with a knurled grip give a tactile, positive feel on every AC adjustment, whether you are wearing gloves or not.
LASER-ETCHED ICONS
Control icons are laser-etched directly into the aluminium, not printed or applied as a decal, so they stay sharp and readable over the life of the vehicle.

REMOVE FACTORY UNIT
Pop out the factory plastic AC control unit from the dashboard using a trim tool. Disconnect the wiring loom and set the unit on a clean surface.
TRANSFER DIAL MECHANISMS
Remove the dial mechanisms from the factory face and fit them into the URNIETA aluminium panel. The layout and mounting points are a direct match.
REFIT AND RECONNECT
Reconnect the original wiring loom and press the URNIETA panel into the dash. No wiring changes, no additional hardware required.
