Aluminium inverted dome tweeters, polypropylene cones and a built-in 6 dB crossover deliver a clean, plug-in upgrade with genuine marine-grade durability.
The DK2-110 packs serious speaker engineering into a 4-inch footprint, making it a natural fit for the secondary door positions, A-pillar pods or overhead panels found in Toyota LandCruiser 70 Series cabins. A lightweight polypropylene cone keeps the midrange responsive across the frequency range, while the aluminium inverted dome tweeter handles the highs with improved long-term reliability over conventional mylar designs. Butyl rubber surrounds bonded with high-temperature adhesive ensure the driver holds together in the heat and vibration of off-road use, and the pure copper voice coil on a Kapton former, paired with an over-coil cooling system, keeps thermal compression in check during extended listening sessions. Heavy-gauge steel frames and a ferrite magnet motor round out a build quality that punches well above the price point.
