The Discus DK2-116 is built for owners who want a genuine upgrade without cutting new holes or fabricating custom baffles. The 6.5" footprint drops straight into most factory speaker locations, and the heavy gauge steel basket paired with a ferrite magnet motor keeps the assembly solid on corrugated tracks and rough terrain. High-frequency detail is handled by an aluminium inverted dome tweeter, which delivers fast transient response and controlled dispersion across the cabin. The polypropylene cone is bonded to a butyl rubber surround using high-temperature adhesive, resisting the heat cycles that are a daily reality in Australian conditions. Spade or solder connection options and tinsel leads round out an installation that is as straightforward as it is clean.
