The Story

A problem every LandCruiser owner knew.

For years, Toyota LandCruiser owners who wanted to upgrade their steering wheel faced the same frustrating problem: the only way to keep their steering wheel controls working was to replace the clock spring - a delicate, expensive component buried in the steering column - or cut and splice wires into the factory loom.

Neither option was good. Clock spring replacements were costly and failure-prone. Wire splicing voided warranties and created reliability issues. Most people simply gave up on keeping their controls, or bought a wheel that looked good but did nothing.

In 2017, the team at PVS Automotive decided to solve this properly.

Since we developed the wireless module in 2017, our design has been copied by other brands who obtained the technology through our supplier chain. You may have seen similar-looking modules sold under different brand names.
