No drills, no exposed cables.
Running wiring for roof-mounted or windshield-pillar lights has always meant a trade-off: tuck cables into tight gaps, leave them exposed on the glass, or drill into your vehicle. Baja Designs developed and tested the Wire Hider Kit to eliminate all three of those compromises.
The 3 ft kit comes with everything needed for a clean, adhesive-mounted install. The 3M tape sheets hold the hider strip firmly in place, and the rubber promoter pen prepares the surface for a bond that lasts. The result is a seamless finish that looks factory-tidy from the outside.
What's in the 3 ft kit.
WIRE HIDER STRIP
A single 3 ft strip channels your wiring and keeps it flat against the windshield or roof surface, out of sight and out of the way.
3M ADHESIVE TAPE
Two 3M adhesive tape sheets provide a strong, reliable bond between the hider strip and your vehicle's surface with no fasteners required.
RUBBER PROMOTER PEN
The included promoter pen primes rubber and glass surfaces before taping, improving adhesion and ensuring the strip stays put long-term.
Installation overview.
PLAN YOUR RUN
Map out the wiring path along your windshield or roof where the hider strip will sit, keeping the run as straight and clean as possible.
PRIME THE SURFACE
Use the rubber promoter pen to treat the mounting surface. Allow it to dry briefly before applying tape.
APPLY THE TAPE
Stick the 3M adhesive tape sheets to the back of the hider strip at regular intervals along its length.
MOUNT AND ROUTE
Press the strip firmly onto the primed surface, then feed your wiring through the hider channel for a finished, concealed look.
