Why add an extension?
Reach and fatigue matter on a long drive or a tough track. A standard factory shifter height is a compromise built for the average driver in an average situation. Adding 5 inches of height brings the knob closer to your hand in a natural resting position, reducing the reach needed on every single gear change.
The Aero Series extension is CNC machined from 7075 aluminium, the same high-grade alloy used across the Aero Series lineup. It installs cleanly between your existing shifter and your Aero Series knob with no cutting, no permanent modification and no fuss. The result is a seamless, motorsport-inspired look that looks like it belongs there.
Note that this extension is designed to work exclusively with Aero Series gear knobs. You will need an existing Aero Series bundle kit, including a gear knob and thread adaptor, before purchasing this extension individually. It is not compatible with factory or other aftermarket knobs.

CONFIRM COMPATIBILITY
Ensure you have an existing Aero Series bundle kit fitted, including the gear knob and thread adaptor. This extension will not fit factory or other aftermarket knobs.
REMOVE THE KNOB
Unthread your Aero Series gear knob from the shifter or thread adaptor.
FIT THE EXTENSION
Thread the 5" extension onto the shifter or adaptor, then reattach your Aero Series gear knob to the top of the extension. No cutting or permanent modification required.
