Purpose-built auxiliary lighting, done properly.
Baja Designs engineers the Squadron Pro series for riders and drivers who demand reliable, high-quality illumination in the harshest conditions. The black housing keeps the look clean and understated whether the pods are mounted on a bull bar, roof rack, A-pillar bracket or roll cage.
The Drive Combo beam pattern blends a focused driving centre with a wider spread to either side, giving you useful coverage on fast dirt roads and tight bush tracks without blinding oncoming traffic. Clear lenses maximise light output and maintain true colour rendering so you see the terrain as it actually is.
Sold as a matched pair, these Squadron Pro pods are designed to be installed symmetrically for even, shadow-free illumination. Baja Designs backs the Squadron Pro line with their reputation for motorsport-proven LED technology used from Baja racing to everyday touring.
Squadron Pro key features.
DRIVE COMBO BEAM
Combines a focused driving centre with lateral spread, delivering versatile coverage on dirt roads, tracks and open terrain without excessive glare.
CLEAR LENS
A clear lens keeps light output at its maximum and ensures accurate colour rendering so obstacles and terrain features are easy to read at speed.
BLACK HOUSING
The matte black housing looks sharp on any build and resists the attention that polished finishes attract when covered in dust and mud.
Installation overview.
CHOOSE YOUR MOUNT POSITION
Common locations include bull bar wings, A-pillar brackets, roof rack front rails and roll cages. Position the pods symmetrically for an even beam spread.
SECURE THE PODS
Use the supplied mounting hardware. Angle each pod so the Drive Combo beam projects forward and slightly outward to maximise spread without wasting light skyward.
WIRE TO A SWITCHED CIRCUIT
Run wiring back to a relay or switch panel. Use an appropriate fuse and automotive-grade cable. Keep wiring secured away from heat sources and moving parts.
AIM AND TEST
Power the lights and adjust the aim angle before locking the mounting bolts fully. Check beam spread and symmetry from in front of the vehicle.
