Why upgrade your tail lights.
Factory tail lights on the 76 and 78 Series were never the highlight of the build. The halogen units are dim by modern standards, and the stock look does nothing to match the aggressive styling most owners work toward. These smoked LED rear bar lights change both of those things in one straightforward swap.
The smoked red lens gives the rear end a darker, more purposeful appearance without sacrificing visibility. LED output is brighter than the factory halogen setup, which matters whether you are on a remote track or stuck in freeway traffic.
Installation uses the factory plug, so there is no cutting or rewiring involved for the brake, reverse and tail functions. If your LandCruiser does not have indicator function in the factory tail lights, you will need to run a wire from the bumper indicators to enable that channel on these lights.

REMOVE FACTORY LIGHTS
Unplug the factory tail light connectors and remove the existing units from the rear bar.
CONNECT AND FIT
Plug the new smoked LED lights into the factory connector and secure them into position. No modifications needed.
INDICATOR NOTE
If your LandCruiser does not have indicator function through the factory tail light plug, run a wire from the bumper indicators to enable the indicator channel on these lights.
