Will this work with my head unit?
The CCPA AutoKit is compatible with aftermarket Android head units that support APK sideloading. CarPlay requires an iPhone running iOS 10 or later, and Android Auto requires a phone running Android 11 or later. If you are unsure whether your head unit supports APK installation, check your unit's settings menu for a developer or app install option, or contact PVS Automotive with your head unit's make and model before purchasing.
Will my steering wheel controls still work after installing this dongle?
Steering wheel control functionality depends entirely on your existing head unit's steering wheel control integration, not the CCPA dongle itself. If your head unit already has steering wheel controls mapped and working, those mappings will carry through to CarPlay and Android Auto as your head unit sees fit. The dongle does not add or remove steering wheel control capability.
