The Y62 Patrol Warrior's bi-modal exhaust is a clever piece of factory engineering, but it makes its own decisions about when to open and close the valve. Sometimes you want that valve open and you want it to stay open, whether you're heading out on a run, sitting around camp, or simply enjoying the drive.
This kit puts that decision back in your hands. A single dash-mounted switch lets you lock the valve open for a louder, more aggressive exhaust note, or flip straight back to the factory automatic mode when you want the stock behaviour. The switch is wired to illuminate with your dash lights, so it sits cleanly alongside your factory controls without looking out of place.
Installation requires cutting into the factory exhaust valve wiring. A detailed instruction sheet is included with wiring colour information to make the process straightforward. If you're not comfortable with electrical wiring, professional installation is the way to go.

LOCATE WIRING
Identify the factory exhaust valve wiring using the included instruction sheet and wiring colour guide.
CONNECT THE SWITCH
Cut into the factory exhaust valve wiring at the specified points and connect the switch harness as per the instructions.
MOUNT AND ILLUMINATE
Mount the switch in your preferred dash location and optionally wire it into the dash light circuit for illuminated operation.
