The MBQuart PS1-216 is a 6.5" Premium Series 2-way component system engineered for builds where sound staging and long-term durability matter equally. At its core are 1" Magnesium WideSphere tweeters paired with aerated paper and mica composite cones, delivering a wide, controlled dispersion pattern without the harshness of conventional metal domes. The external passive crossovers use a Cauer-topology Butterworth design, a tight-tolerance network that keeps frequency hand-off clean and consistent across both channels. The aerospace-grade PA66 composite frame, reinforced with 30% glass fibre, is built to resist the flex and resonance that plague lesser enclosures on corrugated tracks. Active frame venting and PTC tweeter protection round out a system that is as practical as it is capable.
