Baja Designs drew on decades of desert racing experience when designing the LP9. The starting point was their iconic 8-inch La Paz HID, a light that earned its reputation on the roughest tracks on earth. The LP9 takes that legacy and rebuilds it around modern LED technology, producing serious output from a compact, purposeful housing.
The Racer Edition variant narrows the focus. Where the standard LP9 suits a wide range of off-road applications, the Racer Edition produces a much tighter beam pattern specifically engineered for the demands of high-speed driving. You get the same power draw but more usable light pushed further down the track, exactly where you need it when the pace picks up.
Six additional LEDs handle Integrated Peripheral Technology, spreading usable light across a full 200 degrees to keep your peripheral vision covered without a separate pod. Direct Ducted Cooling channels air from the front of the housing to the rear for exceptional heat dispersion, and the whole unit runs on three power modes: daytime running, low, and high.

uSERVICE OPTICS
Replaceable lenses and optics let you swap beam pattern or lens colour in the field to suit changing conditions, without replacing the entire light.
INTEGRATED PERIPHERAL TECH
Six dedicated LEDs cast 1,140 lumens per side across a 200-degree arc, giving you wide peripheral coverage alongside the tight Racer Spot main beam.
DIRECT DUCTED COOLING
The housing channels airflow from front to rear, actively dispersing heat and keeping the LEDs operating at peak efficiency over long stints.

SELECT YOUR POSITION
Choose a mounting location that gives the Racer Edition's tight long-distance beam a clear forward sight line. Bull bar mounts and roof leading edges are common choices for high-speed setups.
FIT THE BRACKET
Bolt the LP9 to your chosen bracket or bar using the supplied mounting hardware. Adjust aim before fully tightening so the beam centres correctly for your ride height.
CONNECT THE WIRING
Run a dedicated fused harness from the battery, through a relay, to the light connector. Avoid tapping into existing circuits to ensure the LP9 receives clean, full voltage.
TEST ALL MODES
Power the light and cycle through DRL, low, and high modes to confirm correct operation before heading out.
