Built on a racing legacy.
The LP9 Pro's design draws directly from Baja Designs' iconic 8-inch La Paz HID, a light that earned its reputation across desert race courses and remote trails alike. That heritage shaped every decision in the LP9 Pro, from its housing geometry to the way it manages heat and distributes light.
Nine forward-projecting LEDs deliver a tight 8-degree spot beam that reaches deep into Lighting Zones 4 and 5, making it the right tool for high-speed runs or long straight trails where distance illumination matters most. It is designed to be paired with wider driving or cornering lights for full coverage.
The amber backlight option adds a distinctive look for shows and photo shoots. Note that red, blue and green backlight variants are for exhibition use only and must not be used on public roads.
Technology at every layer.
INTEGRATED PERIPHERAL TECHNOLOGY
Six dedicated IPT LEDs deliver a 200-degree spread of usable peripheral light, dramatically widening your field of vision beyond what the main spot beam covers.
DIRECT DUCTED COOLING
The housing channels airflow from the front face through to the rear, providing active heat dispersion that keeps the LEDs running at peak output over long stints.
THREE POWER MODES
A built-in day-time running light mode, low power mode and high power mode give you flexible control to suit conditions and power draw requirements.
Installation overview.
CHOOSE YOUR MOUNT POSITION
Select a mounting location that keeps the pod within the beam's intended zone. For a spot-pattern light, a higher central position such as a roof rack or top of a bull bar maximises long-distance throw.
SECURE THE BRACKET
Attach the supplied mounting bracket to your chosen location using appropriately rated hardware. Ensure the mount is solid and free of flex before proceeding.
WIRE TO A SWITCHED CIRCUIT
Run wiring from the pod back to a relay and switch, or integrate with an existing auxiliary switch panel. Use the correct wire gauge for the current draw and protect all connections with appropriate weatherproofing.
AIM AND LOCK OFF
Power the light and adjust the vertical and horizontal aim before locking the mounting hardware to final torque. Pair with a driving or cornering light for full-zone coverage.
