One light, every zone covered.
The LP9 Pro was built around a simple idea: one premium pod should be able to handle the full spread of lighting zones without compromise. The driving/combo pattern pairs 42-degree driving optics with 8-degree spot optics, blending near-field coverage and long-distance reach across Lighting Zones 1 through 3 in a smooth, usable wash of light.
Integrated Peripheral Technology (IPT) adds six dedicated LEDs that push usable light out to a full 200-degree spread, eliminating the dark edges that plague conventional auxiliary lights. Meanwhile, Baja Designs' proprietary Direct Ducted Cooling (DDC) channels air from the front of the housing directly over the rear heat sinks, keeping the LEDs running at full capacity without thermal throttling.
Three power modes, including a day-time running light setting, mean the LP9 Pro works as hard during the day as it does on the trail at night. CopperDrive technology drives every LED at 100% rated power, MoistureBlock sealing makes it fully submersible, and uService replaceable lenses and optics mean a knock on the trail does not mean a new light.
Built to perform.
INTEGRATED PERIPHERAL TECHNOLOGY
Six dedicated IPT LEDs deliver a 200-degree spread of usable light, filling peripheral zones that a forward-only light simply cannot reach.
DRIVING/COMBO OPTICS
Dual 42-degree driving and 8-degree spot optics work together for a smooth blend of near-field and long-distance illumination across Lighting Zones 1, 2 and 3.
DIRECT DUCTED COOLING (DDC)
Air travels from the front of the housing directly over the rear heat sinks, dramatically improving thermal management so the LEDs maintain full output in demanding conditions.
Installation overview.
CHOOSE YOUR MOUNT POINT
Select a suitable location on your bull bar, roof rack, A-pillar bracket or custom mount. Ensure the mounting surface is solid and allows the beam to be aimed forward without obstruction.
SECURE THE POD
Attach the LP9 Pro via its integrated mounting foot using appropriate hardware for your bracket. Leave fasteners slightly loose to allow beam adjustment.
ROUTE AND CONNECT WIRING
Run the harness back to your switch panel or Baja Designs wiring harness, keeping the loom away from heat sources and moving parts. Connect as per the supplied wiring diagram.
AIM AND LOCK OFF
With the light powered on low mode, adjust the vertical and horizontal aim to suit your application, then torque all mounting fasteners to the specified value and re-check beam position.
