LP9 Pro Amber Spot
Advanced LED auxiliary light with amber backlight

The Baja Designs LP9 Pro is a flagship auxiliary LED light inspired by the legendary 8-inch La Paz HID, delivering 12,547 lumens through nine forward-projecting LEDs paired with Integrated Peripheral Technology for a 200-degree spread of usable light. The Spot pattern focuses an 8-degree beam deep down the trail, making it the ideal companion to wider driving or cornering lights.

Design Notes

Built to light the long road.

The LP9 Pro packs nine forward-projecting LEDs alongside six Integrated Peripheral Technology (IPT) LEDs into a single housing. The IPT delivers a 200-degree spread of usable light to fill in the edges of the trail, while the Spot optics lock a tight 8-degree beam onto terrain far ahead. This pattern is purpose-built for Zone 4 and 5 illumination and works best when paired with a wider driving or combo light to cover the full picture.

Heat is the enemy of LED performance, so Baja Designs engineered Direct Ducted Cooling (DDC) directly into the housing. Air travels from the front of the light over the rear heat sinks, dramatically improving cooling capacity and protecting long-term output. Three power modes, including a daytime running light function, give you flexibility for any situation on or off the trail.

The amber backlight option lets you personalise the look of your build for shows, photo shoots or wherever you want to make a statement. Note: backlights in red, blue, green or amber on LP Series lights are for exhibition use only and must not be used on public roads.

02

Why the LP9 Pro stands apart.

Six technologies work together inside every LP9 Pro to deliver reliable, high-performance light output in the most demanding conditions.
Feature01

INTEGRATED PERIPHERAL TECHNOLOGY

Six IPT LEDs produce a 200-degree spread of usable light around the main beam, filling in the periphery and eliminating the tunnel-vision effect common with tight spot lights.

Feature02

DIRECT DUCTED COOLING

Baja Designs' proprietary DDC channels air from the front of the housing over the rear heat sinks, dramatically increasing cooling capacity and protecting LED performance over long stints.

Feature03

COPPERDRIVE

CopperDrive technology drives each LED at a full 100 percent, maximising output while keeping the electrical load within safe operating limits.

03

Installation overview.

The LP9 Pro Spot is designed to be mounted as part of a complementary lighting system alongside wider driving, combo or cornering lights.
General auxiliary light mounting notes
01

CHOOSE YOUR POSITION

Mount the LP9 Pro Spot where it can project its tight 8-degree beam straight ahead, such as on a bull bar, roof rack or A-pillar bracket, clear of obstructions.

02

PAIR WITH WIDER LIGHTS

The Spot pattern covers Zones 4 and 5 only. Pair it with a driving/combo or wide cornering light to fill Zones 1, 2 and 3 for complete trail coverage.

03

WIRE TO SWITCH OR CONTROLLER

Connect to your preferred switch or lighting controller to access all three power modes: daytime running light, low and high. Use appropriately rated wiring and a fused circuit.
