Inspired by a legend.
The LP9 Pro traces its lineage directly to Baja Designs' legendary 8-inch La Paz HID, bringing that same obsession with usable light into a modern LED platform. Nine forward-projecting LEDs handle the primary beam while six additional LEDs power Integrated Peripheral Technology, spreading illumination across a remarkable 200-degree arc so you're not just lighting what's directly ahead.
The Driving/Combo pattern is built for versatility. Dual optics, 42 degrees for driving and 8 degrees for spot, blend seamlessly to cover Lighting Zones 1 through 3, giving you both confident near-field visibility and reach down the trail. When the conditions demand it, the tight 8-degree spot optic punches light into Zones 4 and 5, designed to work alongside wider auxiliary lights for complete coverage.
Thermal performance is handled by Direct Ducted Cooling, a proprietary system that channels air from the front of the housing over the rear heat sinks. The result is improved cooling capacity and sustained LED performance on long runs. Three power modes, DRL, low and high, mean the LP9 Pro adapts to conditions rather than forcing you to. The amber backlight adds a clean, customisable accent for shows and photo shoots. Exhibition use only, not for use on public roads.
Built-in technology, real-world results.
IPT PERIPHERAL SPREAD
Six dedicated LEDs deliver Integrated Peripheral Technology for a 200-degree spread of usable light, illuminating hazards at the edges of your field of view, not just directly ahead.
DRIVING/COMBO OPTICS
Dual 42-degree driving and 8-degree spot optics work together in a single housing to cover Lighting Zones 1 through 3, blending near-field fill with long-distance reach on the one light.
DIRECT DUCTED COOLING
Proprietary DDC technology channels airflow from the front of the housing over the rear heat sinks, drastically improving cooling capacity and protecting LED performance over extended use.
Installation overview.
SELECT MOUNT POSITION
Choose a mounting location with a clear forward sightline and adequate airflow around the housing for Direct Ducted Cooling to function as designed. Bull bars and roof leading edges are common choices.
SECURE THE HOUSING
Attach the LP9 Pro using the included mounting hardware. Ensure the mount is solid with no flex, as vibration over rough terrain can affect aim and long-term hardware integrity.
CONNECT AND AIM
Wire to a suitable switched circuit or Baja Designs wiring harness. Power the light and adjust the aim to suit your chosen beam zones before locking the mount fasteners to final torque.
