Why fleet vehicles need this.
A dash cam is only useful if the footage is still there when you need it. In shared or fleet vehicles, the SD card is an easy target for anyone wanting to remove evidence of an incident. The X-Security Cover puts a physical barrier between the card slot and unwanted hands, and locks both the power and rear camera cables so the unit cannot simply be unplugged.
The cover installs with a combination of 3M adhesive tape and mounting screws, making it a firm, tidy fit that does not interfere with normal dash cam operation. Left and right side cable ports keep routing neat, and spare 3M tape is included so you have a fresh bond any time you need to remount.
Built to deter.
SD CARD PROTECTION
A dedicated slot cover blocks physical access to the microSD card, keeping recorded footage exactly where it should be.
CABLE LOCK
Secures both the power cable and rear camera cable to prevent unplugging, so the camera stays live whenever the vehicle is in use.
DUAL INSTALL METHOD
Combines 3M adhesive tape with screw fasteners for a hold that is both strong and clean looking on the windscreen or mounting point.
WIDE X-SERIES FIT
Designed to suit the IROAD X-series range including the X10, X10-PRO, X11, X11-PRO and X30, so the same trusted cover protects most current IROAD recorders.
