No wiring. No hassle.
Hard-wiring a dash cam takes time, tools and a solid understanding of your vehicle's fuse box. The IROAD OBDII Power Cable skips all of that. Plug into the OBDII port, connect your dash cam, and you are done.
The built-in low-voltage cut-off at 11.2V protects your starter battery during parking mode recording, while the recording mode switch lets you choose between driving-only or driving plus parking surveillance. A status LED confirms everything is running as it should.
Built to just work.
PLUG-AND-PLAY INSTALL
Connects directly to your vehicle's OBDII port. No fuse tapping, no hard-wiring, no electrician needed.
LOW-VOLTAGE CUT-OFF
Automatically cuts power at 11.2V to prevent your starter battery from being drained during parking mode recording.
RECORDING MODE SWITCH
Choose between Driving only (S) or Driving and Parking (P) recording modes directly on the cable.
OVERCURRENT PROTECTION
A dedicated cut-off circuit shuts power at a minimum of 3.4A, protecting your dash cam and your vehicle's wiring from current spikes.
BUILT-IN G-SENSOR
An onboard G-sensor and voltage-driven logic manage parking-mode recording, with Stop & Go support for vehicles that switch the engine off at idle.
Installation overview.
SET RECORDING MODE
Slide the switch to S (Driving only) or P (Driving and Parking) based on how you want your dash cam to operate.
PLUG INTO OBDII PORT
Locate your vehicle's OBDII port, typically found under the dashboard on the driver's side, and connect the cable firmly.
CONNECT YOUR DASH CAM
Run the 2-metre cable to your IROAD dash cam, connect it, and confirm the status LED is lit before driving away.
One cable for every vehicle.
PETROL, HYBRID AND EV
Set the vehicle switch to EV or F (fuel and hybrid). The ACC function works across electric, hybrid, petrol and diesel vehicles, so parking mode behaves correctly on every drivetrain.
12V AND 24V SYSTEMS
Input and output handle DC 12V through 24V, so the same cable powers passenger cars as well as trucks and commercial vehicles.
