When a previous owner or installer swapped in an aftermarket headunit, the factory antenna plug was often removed, bypassed, or left dangling. Putting a genuine Toyota headunit back in, or fitting a plug-and-play Toyota-style unit like the PVS headunit, means that plug needs to be there.
The PZQ60-00161 bridges that gap without touching a single wire. It reconnects the vehicle's original antenna harness directly to the headunit, bringing the powered antenna back to life and restoring clean AM/FM reception exactly as Toyota intended.

REMOVE THE HEADUNIT
Pull the headunit from the dash to access the wiring behind it.
CONNECT THE CABLE
Plug the PZQ60-00161 between the vehicle's factory antenna harness and the antenna input on the headunit.
REINSTALL AND TEST
Refit the headunit, power on the vehicle, and confirm the powered antenna extends and AM/FM reception is restored.
