CONFIRM THREAD
Check your shifter shaft is M10 x 1.25 before you start. That's the correct pitch for GQ and Y61 GU Patrol manual transmissions.
REMOVE FACTORY KNOB
Unscrew your existing gear knob anticlockwise by hand. Some models use a retaining clip, remove it first if fitted.
FIT ADAPTOR AND KNOB
Thread the supplied adaptor onto the shaft, then screw the Prism knob down firmly by hand until snug. No torque tool needed.
