The factory gear knob on a GQ or GU Patrol was never the highlight of the cabin. The Nova changes that with a smooth teardrop profile machined from 7075 billet aluminium, a grade chosen for its strength-to-weight ratio and resistance to wear.
The M10 x 1.25 thread fits directly onto the existing Patrol shifter stub, and the included thread adaptor means no guesswork on installation. Each knob carries an etched Aero Series logo and ships in premium packaging, making it a tidy upgrade whether the truck lives on the highway or the fire trail.

CONFIRM THREAD PITCH
Verify your existing shifter stub is M10 x 1.25 before starting. This is the only compatible thread size for the Nova.
REMOVE FACTORY KNOB
Unscrew the original gear knob anticlockwise. Some GQ and GU models use a reverse-thread stub, so check your specific vehicle.
FIT THE ADAPTOR
If required, thread the included adaptor onto the shifter stub and hand tighten securely.
INSTALL THE NOVA
Thread the Nova Gear Knob clockwise onto the stub or adaptor and tighten to a firm, rattle-free fit. No adhesives needed.
