The factory gear knob on a GQ or GU Patrol was never the highlight of the cabin. The Nova changes that with a smooth teardrop profile, machined from 7075 billet aluminium for its strength-to-weight ratio and resistance to wear.
The M10 x 1.25 thread fits straight onto your existing Patrol shifter stub, and the included thread adaptor takes the guesswork out of installing it. Each knob carries an etched Aero Series logo and ships in premium packaging, a tidy upgrade whether the Patrol lives on the highway or the fire trail.

CONFIRM THREAD PITCH
Check your existing shifter stub is M10 x 1.25 before you start. This is the only thread size the Nova fits.
REMOVE FACTORY KNOB
Unscrew the original gear knob anticlockwise. Some GQ and GU models use a reverse-thread stub, so check your specific vehicle.
FIT THE ADAPTOR
If you need it, thread the included adaptor onto the shifter stub and hand tighten it securely.
INSTALL THE NOVA
Thread the Nova Gear Knob clockwise onto the stub or adaptor and tighten to a firm, rattle-free fit. No adhesives needed.
