Factory gear knobs work, but they're rarely comfortable or good looking. The Nova is CNC machined from 7075 billet aluminium for its strength-to-weight ratio, so every gear change feels precise instead of vague and rubbery.

The teardrop profile sits naturally in your palm, on a rocky track or a long highway run. Pick your extension and knob colours from Black, Silver, Gold, Red, Pink, Purple and Green to match your interior or stand out from it.

The 6.6 inch extension raises your shifter to a more comfortable position and eases wrist strain on long drives. Check your shifter thread is M10 x 1.25 before you order, and note this bundle is built to work with Aero Series components.

Installation overview.

Fitting the Nova bundle is straightforward, and you won't need any tools beyond what's already in the shed.
No specialist tools required
01

REMOVE FACTORY KNOB

Unscrew or unclip your existing gear knob, depending on your Patrol's shifter type. Clean any residue off the threads.

FIT THE EXTENSION

Thread the 6.6 inch extension onto the shifter using the included thread adaptor. Make sure it's fully seated and aligned.

03

ATTACH THE NOVA KNOB

Thread the Nova knob onto the extension and tighten firmly by hand. Check there's no movement before you drive.
