The MBQuart 5x7"/6x8" 2-Way Coaxial is engineered around a multi-fit basket that drops straight into the factory speaker openings found in Ford, Mazda and a wide range of other vehicles, eliminating the need for adaptor rings or custom brackets. A heavy gauge progressive-die stamped steel frame and ferrite magnet motor keep the assembly rigid and magnetically efficient without adding unnecessary bulk. Aluminium dome tweeters cross over at 6 kHz via a 12 dB slope, pairing with butyl rubber surrounds on the woofer cone for long-term durability in demanding environments. At just 2.13" deep, the speaker slides into shallow door cavities where full-depth units simply will not go, and flexible spade or solder connections with tinsel leads make installation straightforward in any configuration.
