- Join the Key 1 wire on the kit loom to ST REMOTE INPUT 1 (green and red) and Key 2 to ST REMOTE INPUT 2 (purple and red).
- ST REMOTE GND (grey and red) is the ground. It doesn't need connecting, but you can join it to ground if you need to.
- Park with the ignition on.
- Open FNC > SETUP > User Interface > Steering Remote Controller.
- Touch the function you want, then press and hold the matching steering wheel button until it registers.
- Repeat for every button, then confirm.
- US-market builds of some JVC models have no steering input to learn from. This card is for the Australian and Asian build.
- The 28-pin patch lead isn't used on this unit. The headunit learns each button whichever steering wire it arrives on.
