| Plug in here | The 3.5 mm socket labelled STEERING REMOTE is on the REMOTE cable that comes with the unit. That cable plugs into the back of the unit, lower row, right of centre. |
|---|---|
| PVS part | The Alpine version of the PVS wireless module. Its receiver ends in a 3.5 mm plug that goes straight into the Alpine's steering socket, with no patch lead and nothing to learn. |
- Plug the REMOTE cable into the back of the unit.
- Plug the receiver's 3.5 mm plug into STEERING REMOTE on that cable.
- Turn the ignition on and try each button. There's nothing to learn or set.
- MIC IN is on the same cable, right beside STEERING REMOTE. The steering plug only works in STEERING REMOTE.
- The Steering wheel setting in the menu (Left or Right) only moves the CarPlay and Android Auto layout. It has nothing to do with the buttons.
