The PVS Paddle Shift System runs on wireless tech. It's built for detachable or quick-release steering wheels.
The wireless paddle shift system fits all 70mm PCD steering wheel bosses. It has 2 switch inputs that talk to micro relays inside the Receiver Module. Those relays are microprocessor controlled and, with an external relay, can be set up individually for momentary, latching or flashing modes. Use them for PTT radio, pit lane limiter, dash menus, lights, indicators and more.
The Transmitter module is small enough to sit behind the steering wheel horn button and draws power from the horn wire. It only uses power when you press a button, so it never needs switching off.
The PVS Wireless Paddle Shift System mounts to most racing and aftermarket steering wheels.
PVS uses 2.4ghz to communicate between the steering wheel and the control system.
That means the wireless link is shielded from outside signals such as radio waves and EMF, unlike other systems on the market. The link also works through a full 360 degrees.
The fast response time of the PVS Wireless Paddle Shift System means we have been able to build a version for paddle shift race cars. A two-channel system has been designed specifically for paddle shift.
