There's no wire cutting and no clock spring replacement. Disconnect the battery, remove the airbag and the original wheel, fit the new wheel and reconnect.
Before the wheel comes off: set the road wheels dead ahead and never turn the clock spring while the wheel is off the column. An over-rotated clock spring breaks the horn, cruise and airbag circuits, and it's a four figure repair at Toyota. Read the clock spring guide before you start.

What vehicles is this for?
The Toyota Hilux N80 (2015 to 2026), including SR, SR5, Rogue, Rugged X and facelift models. It's not for the older Hilux N70, which uses a separate kit.
Why is there no headunit or module selection?
This kit uses the factory wiring for your steering wheel controls, so it plugs directly into your vehicle. No wireless module and no aftermarket headunit matching. Fewer parts and a simpler install.
Does this only change the look of the wheel?
No. You get the premium look and feel with improved materials and OEM-style fitment, plus full use of your factory steering wheel controls.
Will my factory cruise and audio buttons still work?
If your N80 came from the factory with cruise control, audio and Bluetooth buttons on the steering wheel, the upgrade wheel keeps all of them. The original wiring loom plugs directly into the new wheel.
Why does ADR compliance matter?
A steering wheel that isn't certified for ADR compliance can put your insurance, your warranty and your safety at risk. Non-compliant wheels may not meet Australian design rules for airbag compatibility and crash performance.
