Built for the long haul.
Off-road lighting only helps if it shows you what's coming, and the XL80 pair pushes further than the previous Baja Designs generation. You get 18% greater distance and increased intensity over the outgoing model, plus 9,022 raw lumens per light, for a beam that's longer, wider, and keeps you ahead of the trail.
The Driving Combo pattern is the workhorse of the XL80 range. It blends spot and driving optics into one smooth spread across near-field zones 1 and 2 and zone 3 distance illumination. One pattern handles it all, from creeping through tight scrub to opening up on faster unsealed roads.
The Baja Amber lens adds another layer of capability in tough conditions. It cuts glare and cuts through dust, rain, snow and fog, sharpening contrast and easing driver fatigue when visibility drops. Paired with the driving combo optic, it's a natural fit for Australian outback conditions where red dust and shifting weather are part of the drive.

Installation overview.
CHOOSE YOUR MOUNT POSITION
Pick a solid mounting spot on your bull bar, roof rack or A-pillar bracket that gives a clear forward beam without the bonnet or accessories in the way.
FIT THE MOUNTING HARDWARE
Use the supplied hardware to secure each pod firmly. Torque the fasteners correctly so they handle the vibration on corrugated tracks.
RUN THE WIRING HARNESS
Route the included harness from the lights through the engine bay to your switch point, keeping it clear of heat sources and moving parts.
CONNECT AND AIM
Connect the harness to your switch and power source, then aim each pod for your preferred beam coverage before locking the adjustment in place.
