Light that outreaches everything.
The XL Racer Edition was built around one goal: maximum reach. Baja Designs' next-generation LEDs run at 100% capacity through CopperDrive technology, giving you an 85% increase in range over the previous XL generation. The High-Speed Spot reflectors focus that output into a long, penetrating beam that reaches further down the track or trail, so you get more time to react to what's ahead.
The housing is anodised and powder-coated aluminium, built to take the punishment of real off-road use. MoistureBlock engineering keeps the pods waterproof, rainproof and submersible, and replaceable lenses and optics through the uService programme mean these lights are a long-term investment rather than a consumable. A 20% dimming option gives you flexibility when you need to dial back the output.
At 5,000 K, the daylight colour temperature cuts driver fatigue and renders the terrain in natural colour, so you can read the ground more accurately at speed. Pair the XL Racer with the 640119 harness for hi-lo functionality and full control over your auxiliary lighting setup.
Built-in Baja technology.
COPPERDRIVE
LEDs run safely at 100% of their rated capacity. That maximises output and range without cutting into diode lifespan.
MOISTUREBLOCK
Fully sealed construction makes each pod waterproof, rainproof and submersible. Moisture ingress isn't a concern on wet trails or creek crossings.
5,000 K DAYLIGHT
Natural daylight colour temperature cuts eye strain on long night drives and renders terrain in true colour, so you get more accurate depth perception.
Installation overview.
CHOOSE YOUR MOUNT
Pick a mounting position on your bull bar, roof rack or custom bracket that gives the pods a clear forward throw with nothing in the way from the bonnet line.
RUN YOUR HARNESS
Route the wiring harness (640119 recommended for hi-lo) from the pods back to the battery or fuse box. Keep cables away from heat sources and moving parts.
CONNECT AND AIM
Connect the pods to the harness, power up and adjust the aim before locking off the mounting hardware. Check beam alignment on a flat surface before you head out.
